In the wonderful South Tyrolean Dolomites you find Europe`s largest high-altitude plateau „The Alpe di Siusi“.
This alpine area covers 57 km², with an elevation of 1.680 to 2.350 m. The surrounding holiday resorts are Castelrotto, Siusi allo Sciliar and Fiè allo Sciliar. The Langkofel group (gruppo del Sassolungo) stretches along the east side of the Alpe di Siusi, the Gardena valley (Val Gardena) in the North and the Schlernblock (massiccio dello Sciliar) to the South.
